First Saudi Woman Enters India’s Bollywood industry


 


Saudi woman Sameera Aziz who is a media personality has entered India’s Bollywood industry and now she will be the first female filmmaker from Saudi Arabia. Sameera is most noticeable for her work in Saudi Gazette newspaper. Sameera is also first Saudi novelist of Urdu language in Saudi Arabia.
Sameera who is journalist by profession has written the scenario of the film “Reem”. This film is based on a Saudi girl “Reem” who will be searching for Indian mother after his Saudi father divorce her mother when she was eight months old. The film scense will be shot in Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia as well as in Mumbai.
A resident of Dubai where Bollywood films are screened in cinema while commenting on this news said that it is very unusal for a country like Saudi Arabia to see that their women working in Bollywood. He said that Saudi Arabia is role model for many Islamic countries when it comes to Islamic laws as many Islamic laws are implemented in the country. Sameera Aziz news has become viral and her photo has also spread on internet and published in newspapers but it is good to see that in the photo she is in Hijab.
