12 Guinness World Records made by Pakistanis in three days!!!
The Punjab Youth Festival 2012 had been registered as the biggest sports, social and cultural activity of the world and Guinness World Record Book officials have declared its another World Record for Pakistan. Thousands of talented young Pakistanis made twelve Guinness World Records during Punjab Youth Festival-2012 in Lahore.
Earlier on Saturday 20th October, patriotic emotions ran through the sky when thousands of participants of Punjab Youth Festival joined voices to break the said world record for the most people singing a national anthem simultaneously here in Lahore. A Guinness World Records representative made official announcementin this regard saying according to their tally 42,813 Pakistani people sang the national anthem together to reclaim the world record. “Aap nay world record tord diya hay (You have broken the world record)”, a GWR representative said in Urdu. A few hours earlier the ambitious organizers claimed that Pakistan has made it to the Guinness World Records as around 70,000 people have sung the national anthem together. According to a statement issued by Sports Board of Punjab a day earlier at least 24,000 students, athletes as well as 60,000 audience/volunteers were expected to set the world record in the opening ceremony of Punjab Youth Festival 2012 main round.
Pakistani youths continued making Guinness World Records one after the other in ongoing youth festival in Lahore on Sunday 21st October as well.
Ahmad Mobin Bodla hit 616 nonstop kicks and made a new Guinness World Record.
Muhammad Noman made history by completing electric plug wiring within 35 seconds.
Another youth, Muhammad Mansha, cooked three chapattis in three minutes and fourteen seconds and made a new record of fastest chapatti cooking.
Two talented youths Qamar Rizwan and tossed a football on their heads for nonstop four minutes and forty six seconds and managed to enroll their names in Guinness Book of Records.
An intelligent little 12-year girl Mehak Gul arranged all pieces in just 45 seconds on chessboard and made a new world record.
Saddi Muhammad set a record by using his moustache to pull a 1.7-tonne pickup truck a distance of 60.3 metres, to wild applause from the crowd.
One fast and brilliant student sealed fastest cricket kit wearing’s world record and Munir set world record of maximum push ups.
Another World Record for Pakistan – 31 Leap frog jumps in 30 seconds by Nouman Rafiq and Sheraz Sarfaraz. There names are now in Guinness Book of World Record.
Another Guinness World Record of largest human picture was made together by 1,934 youths on Monday.
Later on same day’s evening, around 24,200 students in Punjab set a new record for Pakistan by making the largest national flag with hands during the Punjab Youth Festival on Monday
The Guinness Book of Records’ officials, visiting Lahore, were so impressed by Pakistani youths’ spirit and unique talents as these talented youths grabbed twelve world records during three days.
